When I think of fall, I often think of brown colors. These 3" x 3" mini notecards are a perfect size to add to fall packages. They also make cute little lunch box notes to make your little one smile!

October has Arrived.

Eeek...Where did September go?  I can't believe it is October 1st already. Wow!  While summer is my favorite time of the year, I have to admit that fall is right there with it.  Bonfires, sweatshirts, harvesting, pumpkins, scarecrows.  You name it, I love everything about fall.  It is also the perfect time to craft.  So many beautiful colors in the fall. 

Here is a "Happy Birthday" card made with a sweet pumpkin in the corner.  Perfect for those fall birthdays.

Tie Birthday Card

It is a tie kind of day!  I was needing more masculine cards in my stash, so I whipped up this birthday card with ties and embossed over it all with the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

I haven't had much time for crafting but couldn't resist making up this cute little thank you card to participate in Freshly Made Sketches for this week's challenge.

   















The design was really fun to work with and made for a quick and easy card.

I will definitely be doing this one again! 

Baby Girl Card

My sweet cousin who lives far away is now a grandma! Her beautiful daughter had a beautiful daughter. Here is a baby girl card made just for her. Yay for precious new babies!

This card was made for a sweet new friend who is graduating. We are excited that we get to share her special day with her!

Here is an Easter card that my daughter made. It has a nice combination of embossed background, metal letters, and a wood burned cross. I love sharing the joy of creating with my family! Happy Easter!

Miss You Card

If you love to make cards and are looking for new ideas, hop on over to Freshly Made Sketches.  While I generally like to come up with my own designs, it nice to try a new design by someone else.  It amazes me to see the same basic layout and how many different cards and styles come from it.  Too cool!  With that being said, here is my card for this week.  

I chose green & brown for my colors and used the hand-cut flower with a cute little button as a focal point. Fun! Fun!

Here's a real nice card that was quick and easy to put together.  I'll save it for a masculine birthday as I never seem to have as many of those on hand!  It is also fairly flat so it will go in the mail easily.  I love to make cards with lots of embellishments, but I also like to have an assortment of flat cards that don't have to be hand delivered so this one will do just right!

Thank You Card

Today, I thought it would be fun to try a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.
I love the design of this and was excited to give it a try.




I used my favorite color combination of pink and brown, a thank you stamp from TPC Studio, and a handmade flower with a pretty gem to top it off. I loved this sketch and will definitely be making more of these.  I now have one more thank you card to add to my stash.

Masculine Shirt Card

Today I would like to share with you a masculine card made to look like a shirt. A triangle collar, a cute little pocket that could hold a gift card, some stitching, and buttons.  Voilà!  A handsome looking card for that special man in your life.

This embossed birthday card was so quick and easy to make.  It is a cheerful looking card using sparkly Washi tape, punched flowers, and clear gems.

Best Friends Card

When you think of best friends, someone special always comes to mind.  Here is a "Best Friend" card I made using two flowers to indicate that special friendship.

Wedding Card

Who doesn't love a wedding?  My oldest son is getting married in 2 months, and our whole household is so excited that we will soon be getting another sister/daughter!  Love is in the air.  Here is a "Wedding" card made from two hearts and was truly fun to make with some dry embossing and embellishments.
